What to expect:

The heart of the Studio Journal Newsletter is its big, monthly collection of recommendations, creativity prompts, affirmations and a section reserved for a featured creative I want to shed some light on. This comes together with a mid-lenght text, sharing an idea or thought that’s been on my mind lately or I’ll share what I’m up to the next month. In the end of this mail I always share a featured creative. I don’t want this newsletter to be solely about me and I also want you to discover other incredibly great creatives, you might not know about, yet.

Additionally, once or twice each month, I’ll give a short-ish studio insight, sharing creative endeavours (that I’ll encourage you to try as well), ups and downs, reflective thoughts or ideas. Through this you’ll always be up-to-date and really get to know me very well. The topics I share are often the same I also discuss with my friends and I’m always looking forward to what you’re thinking. So feel free to reply to my mails!

Finally, every now and then, there will be mails about new artworks, prints or other launches and projects!

Still unsure? Read on.

Why can't I just follow you on social media?

Well, first of all because I’m not a huge fan of social media and therefore only use it when I’m in the mood for it and I haven’t been for half a year. So, my timeline is more build as a portfolio and while you get tiny studio views here and there, I’ll never be as open over there as in my newsletter.

The Studio Journal is where I feel comfortable about sharing my world, being vulnarable and loving the connection to you. It’s closer and more at ease. Mails stay in your inbox as long as you want them to be there. Nothing will be gone in a day, which is way more sustainable – for your and my health 😉

Read what readers said about the Studio Journal:

Mareike's newsletter is a wonderful artistic and inspiring collection of recommendations and reflections. It is full of thoughts on books, films and art. I always look forward to reading it and take something away from it every time. Mareike has a beautiful style of writing and offers unique paintings that you'll love. I can highly recommend looking into her work, art and thoughts. You'll find a lot of things to explore and fall in love with.

Merel

I'm always looking forward to Mareike's Newsletters. I like her choice of words and her style of writing. She does a lot of thinking about many parts of her life and doesn't hestiate to share them. I'm always looking forward to her next mails, to discover new pieces of art or reflect on her writing in her Studio Journal.
