These ceramic ornaments truly delight me and the roses give them a magical look that will be carried on to your Christmas tree. They are all hand-painted and therefore actually little originals, as no one looks like the other.

While painting the ornaments, I was facing a moment of black canvas anxiety, being afraid to mess them up. So, I was only moving the paint around on my palette, playing with the colours, when I found myself painting a minimalistic rose in one corner. Roses are all year favourites, at least for me, and adding them to my Christmas ornaments felt perfectly right. While I’m writing this, there is snow outside and I already found some snowy, frosty roses in the garden. So, for anyone who loves roses, this is for you. A little reminder of the good things to come next year.

Note on sustainability: I’d love to present you a sustainable Christmas ornament, but it wasn’t possible for me this year. So, make them sustainable by keeping them for a very long time.
